Newbury College was founded in 1962 and has grown from a two-year to a four-year baccalaureate degree institution. Newbury is an independent, student-centered, career-relevant college located in the beautiful and safe historic neighborhood of Brookline. Situated 3 miles from downtown Boston, museums, theaters, businesses, sporting events, and restaurants are easily accessible by public transportation.


UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Newbury College offers day and evening courses in degree programs in the School of Arts, Science & Technology, the School of Business and Management, and the Roger A Saunders School of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Newbury is committed to offering career-oriented internships, to small class sizes with a student-to-faculty ratio of 15 to 1, and to guaranteeing the students satisfaction with their education. If, after six months after graduation with a bachelor's degree and at least a 3.0 GPA, students not employed or employed in a job with which they are not happy, can return to Newbury College and take up to ten courses free of charge.
